What happens to an author’s writing after they die? Even the most successful author’s works can vanish—suppressed, misplaced, or forgotten—after death. One might want to consider appointing a literary executor to handle copyrights, royalties, and even unfinished manuscripts, etc., when one is no longer around to ensure one’s wishes are followed.
