A group showcase celebrating the visuals of literature, words and the stories we share.
Wordbridge invites Southern Alberta artists and designers working in a variety of mediums to submit work celebrating the theme of “doing it for the plot”: momentum, mischief, risk, tenderness, consequences or other interpretations of plot. How would you visually share the idea of the choices we make because the plot demands it? This showcase will celebrate literature
culture as a visual and wide subject including works such as book covers, typography, printmaking, zines, letterpress work, concrete poetry, book binding, paper engineering and more!
Who Can Apply
– Open to: Southern Alberta artists & designers including: emerging, established, individuals, and
collectives.
– We encourage submissions from artists working in DIY, community print, and small-press
traditions.
